I-Am-Confession

Went to my first ever Ghost Town. I was absolutely thrilled. Although I also got my first ever speeding ticket on the way there. Don't worry I wasn't going 100 or anything. Just 68 lol. Yes I got a speeding ticket for that snail pace. Who would've know when the speed limit wasn't posted for miles. And who knew that a policeman would be out in the boonies at that moment. Anyway, I'm not entirely happy with the pictures that I did get. I rushed through too fast so we could get to every house. So I missed a lot. *sigh* Next time I will slow down and actually breathe.

I'll be returning soon to the zoo. I can't wait to bring my new camera. I've also got a few paintings in the making. I'm sure they won't be anything special but I'll post them anyways.

So here I am, to defend myself. Alas, it is futile. My view on Art really has no definition. It is from the heart. Who cares what it "lacks" in detail. As long as the piece means something to you. Some people have seemed to lose the REAL meaning to art. Were there a$$holes behind the artists of the Egyptian tombs saying "Hey that in no way resembles a real human figure. You've got the anatomy ALL wrong". Sure there may have been, but I'm sure they wound up mysteriously missing. This is the very reason I failed to excel and further my career in art. I was tired of being GRADED on my work. True, I may just be too stubborn to practice
